Hours:
This is a full-time (up to 30-40 hours/week), position with expected hours to be worked during business hours of Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; depending on camp enrollment. This is a 7-week long summer camp program.

Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, Camp Counselors engage campers in daily activities, act as role models, and carry out the day-to-day operations of the Titan Youth Summer Camp. Please note, camp will be closed on July 4th.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plans, leads, and implements camp programs for children ages 4 -18 years old
- Provides high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for camp participants
Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being
- Organizes and leads various small and large group activities as appropriate for each period and maintains an organized storage space.
- Manage personal time off by camp policy
- Reporting and recording details of incidents, such as accidents or rule violations, to parents and camp staff
- Responsible for promoting a safe and fun environment for campers by adhering to and enforcing the policies and procedures of the University, the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., and ASI Titan Recreation
Will work with campers with regard to sports and leisure activities such as arts & crafts, soccer, badminton, martial arts, softball/baseball, tennis, dance, basketball, flag football, track & field, bowling, racquetball, skill development, volleyball, and more Clerical duties as assigned Other duties as assigned
Customer Service & Collaboration:
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with various A.S. and University departments
Safety:
- Ensures all operations are conducted with safety of staff and customers as first priority, and in accordance with the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and other safety policies.
- Reports accidents to supervisor and reviews changes required to avoid reoccurrence.
- Reports maintenance problems and/or broken and unsafe equipment to the appropriate party or supervisor immediately
Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled California State University Fullerton student in good academic standing and complete a Live Scan screening.
