PARKS & REC PART-TIME DAY CAMP COUNSELOR

Summary:

Summer Camp Counselors work directly with campers conducting arts and crafts, games and activities.  Additionally, Counselors ensure safe playing environments by conducting safety inspections of the facility and equipment. Counselors are responsible for the direct supervision of program participants. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

High school student (at least 19 years of age) or high school diploma or acceptable equivalent (i.e. GED).

Language Skills:

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

Valid driver’s license for the State of Mississippi.
