EMEA Logistics Project Manager
This role is an integral position within the Specialized EMEA Logistics Team with accountability for identifying, planning, prioritizing and executing key strategic logistics projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the region. This is a pivotal, cross-functional, trusted position where proven proactive actions are required to deliver supply chain projects on time and in line with budget and SLA targets to ensure we provide a best-in-class service through our supply chain to our Riders and Retailers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTPUTS
- Embed yourself into the business and the various Specialized sales organization to seek opportunities for efficiency that will bring value to customers by optimizing logistics processes
- Work closely with Specialized warehousing & transportation partners to understand challenges & identify improvement opportunities
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics financials per country and identify the source of saving potential, launching corresponding projects and deliver to benefit OPEX
- Identify improvement opportunities, Drive, track & prioritize all continuous improvement across logistics in EMEA
- Lead & govern project portfolio (PMO) for Logistics across EMEA, communicate progress and decisions to the organisation.
- Manage priorities, resources and ROI associated with strategic projects
- Manage projects as directed, lead implementation and measure successes making sure all projects have a charter, defined project plan & team assigned
- Establish Reporting methodology to project and business stakeholders
- Project leader of strategic EMEA logistics initiatives, while managing and developing a team of project and analytics support teammates
- Measure processes & performance by developing appropriate KPI’s & analytics
- Propose improvements & innovations, build business case appropriately
- Facilitate process re-engineering to remove silos and improve supply chain efficiency
- Represent the business requirements using technology to develop automation and drive efficiency
- Collaborate with large retail organizations to identify and remove inefficiencies out of the supply chain
- Engage directly with customers to increase service level while reducing logistics costs
- Coaching mentoring, development of key individuals within the business
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Academic background
- A relevant logistics, supply chain, business qualification or related degree
- A recognized Agile / LEAN Project Management qualification
Experience
- 5+ Years in an Operational / Logistics Specialist
- Worked in an International supply chain environment
- Experience of Logistics focused Projects with key implementations achieved with proven continuous improvement focus
- Experience or exposure with S&OP, Demand Planning, Logistics and Supply Chain
- Proven in Change Management for businesses and the effect of teams
- Experienced with Oracle or similar ERP systems and their interface capabilities with WMS and TMS systems
- Business use of MS Office skills (MS Excel, Project / Planner, Visio, PowerPoint & Word)
