The McKenzie County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for one opening in the Administrative Divisions for Grasslands Deputy. The Grasslands Deputy responds to reports of theft of livestock, secures "at large" farm animals, investigates allegations of cruelty to or abuse of livestock, patrols state and federal grasslands, recreational areas, and handles all livestock related calls. Reports to the Civil Sergeant and in their absence the Administrative Lieutenant. This position requires an 8-12 hour shift with rotations between days and nights, including overtime, holidays and weekends. Level and salary commensurate with experience.
