Independent Sales/Agency Representative - MO & KSFully Remote
Position Summary
The Independent Sales/Agency Rep for Missouri & Kansas territory is responsible for driving sales, strengthening retailer relationships, and executing Specializedβs go-to-market strategies within an assigned territory. This role serves as the primary field-facing representative of the brand, working closely with Independent Bicycle Retailers (IBRs), Specialized Retail (SR) locations, and internal cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong, productive relationships with retailers to grow revenue and improve brand representation
- Execute sales programs and seasonal initiatives to hit territory and national targets
- Provide in-store merchandising support, training, and business reviews with accounts
- Collaborate with DMDs and Retail Care to ensure retailers are supported and compliant with Specialized programs
- Track and report on field visits, call reports, and feedback in Salesforce to support strategic planning and team effectiveness
- Serve as the link between retailers and internal departments (Product, Rider Care, Finance, Marketing)
- Support territory events including product demos, retailer round tables, and training sessions
- Identify new distribution opportunities and help transition underperforming doors out of the network if needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong sales acumen with experience managing a territory or retail accounts
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Passion for cycling and deep understanding of the cycling retail environment
- Must reside within Missouri or Kansas, St Louis or Kansas City areas preferred
