Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


As the Store Design and Construction Coordinator, you will support the Design and Construction teams with new and existing store projects.  You will work closely with the Project Managers from each team and work with cross functional partners to coordinate a smooth and seamless process from design concept phase through to store opening. 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Retail Design team is a group of creative and innovative thinkers.  We are passionate about bringing the Brand to life in physical space and are constantly searching for a better way to evolve our retail experience.  We work closely with Brand Creative, Visual Merchandising and Retail Operations teams to design and build our stores and to create a premium retail experience for our guests.

If you were a Store Design and Construction Coordinator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Supporting Design and Construction PMs with project scheduling and tracking for our Brand Store projects
  • Monitoring and controlling projects for standard Brand stores  
  • Setting key Stage Gate meetings for Designers and tracking deliverables
  • Updating and managing fixture orders and proto dates 
  • Coordinating milestone check ins and alignment with Stakeholders 
  • Supporting procurement of Owner Supplied Items
  • Supporting vendor invoicing and payment
  • Supporting with project close-out tasks
  • Requesting briefs from Country Managers and circulate to cross functional teams 
  • Connecting with Landlords to ensure all information is provided to Designers at time of project kick-off (Design criteria, construction rules/regs, photos, cad files etc.) 
  • Capturing learnings and best practices from store openings and note what changes need to occur for future projects
  • Supporting with Design materials library – sourcing and ordering samples through vendors etc.
  • Supporting minor works projects and matterport NSO documentation

Are you our next Store Design and Construction Coordinator?
  • You have a bachelor’s degree
  • You have 2+ years of similar experience
  • You are proficient with Smartsheet
  • You have some experience with design and construction processes
  • You are knowledgeable in material specification, sourcing and construction methods
  • You have a strong ability to drive work to ensure deadlines are met
  • You are driven to problem solve and open to learn
  • You have excellent verbal and visual communication skills
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

$58,000 - $73,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$58,000 - CAD$73,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
