BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Work as a cross functional leader to develop and launch products on time to support global BUs. Coordinates and provides the technical engineering solutions to various projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a cross-functional project team and suppliers to ensure transfer products and new products can be smoothly started to produce.
  • Drives the idea of the products being a part of an integrated design system, not stand-alone components. Ensures the fluid hand-over of transfer products and new products into engineering and subsequently mass production manufacturing.
  • Define the project planning with project team, monitor the project progress and ensure adherence of project activities of planning schedules.
  • Lead engineering build and pilot run. Collect issues and define improvement actions with supplier and other functions. Drive design and manufacturing improvement.
  • Maintain technical documents and own DQTP, verify DQTP result to make sure product meet specification.
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties and customer for all project related issues
  • Ensures that transfer products and new products are introduced in a timely manner. Reporting of project status
  • Ensure the product quality is within product specification required by Product Management.
  • Ensure current product improvement ideas are developed and implemented.
  • Find out all possible opportunities to reach the target price as defined by Product Management.
  • Identify the potential project risks and define possible solutions to reduce such risks.
  • Assist Project Manager with the management of the cost reduction and continuous improvement project portfolio.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience on engineering and project management
  • PMP qualification is preferred

Experience or Skills Required:

  • Working experience in consumer electronics/medical industries (with rich experience will consider for the senior position)
  • Familiarity with project management in manufacturing industries and well-known of the manufacturing process
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technically inclined.
  • Analytical minded.
  • Can work under high pressure
  • Good command of both spoken and written in English and Thai, Chinese / Mandarin is plus
