DEFINITION

If you want to contribute to the growth of the Eastern Sierra's recreation community, join our Trail Crew! The Town of Mammoth Lakes is looking for motivated individuals to lead and direct the trail maintenance crew in the construction, maintenance, and repair in the Mammoth Lakes Trail System. This position may work approximate full-time hours for the summer months. Performs signage maintenance, general maintenance, record keeping & upward reporting of completed work. Performs trail work in Spring, Summer and/or Fall conditions, including limbing and bucking of trees, and installation of signage, kiosks, or markers.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives general supervision from the Outdoor Recreation Manager and direct supervision from the Trails Program Manager. May be designated to supervise Temporary Maintenance Workers I (Trail Crew) as needed.
