Travel Coordinator – Driving School

Why You’ll Love This Role:

As a Travel Coordinator for our driving school, you will manage and coordinate high-volume travel arrangements, ensuring a seamless experience for trainees, instructors, and visiting team members. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to assist with last-minute changes or travel questions.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Management:

  • Book and manage 40-60 travel arrangements weekly, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and other transportation.
  • Ensure all travel aligns with company policies and budget guidelines.
  • Monitor and adjust itineraries in response to changes, cancellations, or delays.
     

Communication & Coordination:

  • Provide detailed itineraries and travel confirmations to attendees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travelers, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues in real time.
  • Collaborate with driving school staff to coordinate arrival times and logistics.
     

Schedule Flexibility:

  • Be available as needed, including occasional Sundays, to assist travelers arriving for Monday classes.
  • Proactively address last-minute adjustments and ensure a smooth travel experience.
     

Vendor Relations & Expense Management:

  • Establish relationships with preferred vendors and negotiate competitive rates.
  • Track travel expenses and reconcile invoices in compliance with company policies.
     

Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in travel coordination, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in travel management platforms and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
     

Flexibility & Availability:

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional Sundays.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to last-minute changes and ensure traveler satisfaction.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing high-volume travel, ideally in a corporate or training environment.
  • Knowledge of waste management, transportation, or logistics industries is a plus.
