Retired nurse looking for career change in outdoor related work
Salt Lake City, Utah
About
I am a recently retired nurse who loves the outdoors and looking to break into related work. I drive to the Uinta Mountains in Utah on an almost weekly basis once the road to that area is passable in the late spring to fall for day hikes. There are also local hikes in nearby canyons that I enjoy. Some road trips to the southern part of the state that is rich in national and state parks are a must. I am passionate about conservation and drive e a hybrid car. The Uinta Mountains, as beautiful as they are, have vast areas of forest with extensive bark beatle damage that is unmistakable. I am healthy and have a solid and reliable employment record. When I retired from my previous job, I had 2,400 hours of unused sick leave. I plan on bringing that reliability and passion to future outdoor related employment when given the opportunity to do so.
