Job Description
SUMMARY
Provide instruction, and maintain membership through teaching, mentoring, and member mixers. Lead and/or assist in the instruction of our Junior Tennis Program. Help set up classes and follow/design a lesson plan for specific levels of tennis ability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and apply the Resort’s and Club’s mission statements to all work activities
Collaborate with Head Tennis Professional and Assistant Professional on all tennis related activities
Assist in teaching of Adult and Junior tennis activities including: Lessons, Leagues,
Mixers, Tournaments and other related tennis activities
Help supervise junior tennis leagues
Lead young junior classes
String, or learn to string, tennis racquets using the USRSA’s standards
Assist in non-tennis related activities as needed
Assist with facility checks
Perform any/all duties assigned by manager
Understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School experience or better
Tennis knowledge

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to stand/teach tennis for long periods of time.

Must maintain an up-beat, positive attitude and encouraging nature.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Noise level is moderate. Working environment is indoors/outdoors in variable weather. Hours and days required are varied and will include nights and weekends.
Native American Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
