    Job Description

    About Rivian

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

    Role Summary

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the commercial go-to-market strategy for Rivian's Adventure Gear Accessories. This position requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with key partners across Product Line Management, Design, Engineering, Operations, Brand, Digital, and Marketing.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the challenge of solving problems. You should be comfortable navigating through ambiguity, turning uncertainty into opportunity, and building a clear path forward. If you are passionate about defining and executing a successful strategy for a unique product line, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

    Responsibilities

Partner with Product Line Management and Voice of Customer teams to conduct comprehensive market research, identifying and understanding customer wants and needs to inform product strategy and roadmap.

Lead market analysis and business case development for all new accessories, providing strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Collaborate closely with New Part Introduction, Demand Planning, and Material Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and readiness for new product launches.

Drive execution of overarching product strategy including: pricing, distribution channels, and sales and marketing plans. You are responsible for ownership of the entire go-to-market product journey from development to post-launch.

Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and present detailed reports on business trends and performance results to management and senior leadership.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of industry and competitive product benchmarking and pricing to ensure our accessories remain competitive and strategically positioned.

Support day-to-day business operations, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the Adventure Gear business.

Support planning activities for new retail store openings and special events, ensuring Adventure Gear is well-represented and integrated into these experiences.

Drive operational improvements by developing, documenting, and implementing new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the Accessories business unit.

Take on special projects and other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting broader business goals.

    Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

5+ years of experience in consumer product strategy/management or product/program management

Strategic thinker; ability to make data-driven decisions with a bias towards action

Ability to work effectively and creatively within a team environment as well as independently.

Ability to build and maintain relationships, solicit cooperation, and drive results

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Resourceful and able to research problems and recommend solutions
