POSITION SUMMARY:
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for delivering client implementations to ensure all Ad Astra solutions are implemented in an efficient and effective manner. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for new and reimplementing clients, and will configure solutions, train client administrators, provide expertise in process, setup and usage of Ad Astra solutions. They will effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders during the life of their assigned projects to ensure successful completion of their projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple, simultaneous projects of varying scope and duration while coordinating efforts with various resources on each project.
- Clearly communicate implementation process to client team members and set proper expectations throughout the engagement.
- Advise client and internal personnel in the resolution of technical or complicated issues associated with implementing Ad Astra solutions.
- Operate as a client advocate by contributing to the identification of new and/or improved solution workflow, practical utilization, and technical application specifications to reflect client requirements.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver training to internal and external customers.
- Evaluate and influence changes to curriculum and training techniques.
- Structure delivery of training and configuration knowledge to customer needs or circumstances. Present materials efficiently and effectively at an appropriate level for those being trained.
- Prioritize requests, organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects.
- Record time spent on all projects through time tracking practices and scheduling calendar.
- Maintain awareness of new functionality of the application and its technology.
- Act as a knowledge resource for internal staff.
- Document problems and resolutions for future reference within knowledge base in a thorough and timely manner.
- Maintain and aspire to exceed departmental and company goals which adhere to Client Service and Retention, Revenue and Associate Development.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (BIS or another Computer Science Degree preferred)
- Experience with clients in a consultative capacity in SaaS or Enterprise software environment.

This is an in-office, full-time position in Overland Park, KS. Ad Astra does not provide relocation expenses.
