As a Mechinist V, you will be responsible for: Supporting safety culture and driving a safe to start mindset Aligning gas components, and parts within tight tolerances for machining, grinding, and runout corrections. Programming CNC lathes, VTL’s, and milling machines Reading and interpreting documents such as OEM drawings, REI’s, Work Instructions, and Digital Routers.

Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T). Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry. Calculating and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.

Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required. Selecting, aligning, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders. To be successful in this role you will: Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
