AV Event Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an AV Technician / Event Support Specialist to join our in-house audiovisual team. This role supports high-profile corporate meetings and live events, including executive presentations, CEO town halls, and internal communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and eager to grow technically in a live-event, corporate environment.

This position blends hands-on AV system operation with real-time event support, requiring strong technical fundamentals and excellent service-oriented communication. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist with the setup, operation, and strike of audiovisual systems for executive meetings and corporate events – 30% Operate and monitor cameras, audio mixers, video switchers, and LED wall systems – 20% Serve as backup operator for video switching, audio mixing, and Zoom/Teams event management – 15% Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and professionally during live events – 15% Maintain and organize AV equipment, cabling, racks, and storage areas – 10% Follow established runbooks and checklists; contribute to documentation and training materials – 5% Collaborate with IT, camera operators, and support staff to ensure smooth event execution – 5% Other duties as assigned
