POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Product Manager supports the commitment to building innovative digital solutions to further the organization’s mission of inspiring everyone to love, enjoy and conserve the outdoors. This position is a customer centric role, focused on translating the needs of the customer into online business opportunities.

This is an in-office role that requires being onsite in Springfield, Missouri. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Explores and expands opportunities that lead to business outcomes, product outcomes and traction outcomes with design and development partners. Engages in continuous discovery – benchmark the products, conduct primary research, interview product users and business stakeholders, distill insight from analytics, user testing and replays.
- Defines the

and makes a case for why the approach represents a win for both the business and for the customers with supporting KPIs.
- Documents findings with written objectives and underlying assumptions and focuses the efforts with user stories and criteria that define what winning looks like.
- Collaborates with UX and interaction designers, business analysts and web developers to define functional
requirements:
and test criteria, and to finesse the hand-off to development + QA. Partners with business owners and product teams to craft product roadmaps that lead to optimal outcomes while maximizing agility and responding to changes in approach / marketplace.
- Manages the backlog for the digital products / stories / tasks.
Writes product objectives, KPIs, user stories and test criteria.
- Leads / facilitates solution design, feature development, QA and acceptance testing.
Partners with cross functional teams to align on feature development and prioritization. Partners with IT / PMO to prioritize backlog / manage resources to assure on-time delivery.
- Develops product positioning and messaging to assure differentiation from competitors.
- Monitors and evaluates product performance / lifecycle to iterate and improve capability.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an unrelated discipline with demonstrable
