    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeping room attendant is responsible for cleaning all assigned areas in accordance with Big Cypress Lodge procedures and standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides professional, friendly service to all guests. Cleans corridors, lobbies, stairways, and lounges as well as guest rooms.

    • Organizes work schedule from the room status list, arrivals, and departures.

    Distributes linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand and organize and restock cart at the end of the shift. Restocks room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies and replaces laundry bags and slips. Replaces dirty linens with clean items and stores all dirty laundry in line with company policy.

    Inspects and turns mattresses regularly, checks all appliances in rooms are in working order and realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. Responds to guest queries and requests, responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses, deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms and remove room service items Ensures confidentiality and security of guest rooms and follow all company safety and security procedures.
