Trainer

POSITION SUMMARY: The Trainer will provide training for Outfitters including, but not limited to: new hire training, department-specific training, MHE & equipment training, cross training, and retraining as required. Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Onboards new hires and trains them on all company policies and procedures. Works with Supervisors and Operations Managers to develop creative ways to deliver a consistent training message to all Outfitters. Conveys the importance of customer satisfaction.

• Trains and educates Outfitters on power equipment while emphasizing safety.
• Ensures safety, quality, and productivity for all new trainees.

Keeps detailed records of training sessions conducted and completed by all trainees and any issued certifications. Periodically performs the various jobs within the Distribution Center as required.
