Description:
Bank Teller Location - Manchester Pay - $18-$20 per hours + incentives based on sales The Teller is a branch role specializing in member service and transaction processing. A Teller is responsible for overall member satisfaction by delivering outstanding service at the teller pod. This position is also responsible to cross sell Bellwether Community Credit Union’s product and services.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring error free and accurate completion of financial transactions, practices sound cash handling and balancing.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making skills as they relate to security and fraud prevention.
Answers inquiries, provides information and resolves basic concerns on member accounts. Refers and cross sells Bellwether Community Credit Union’s products and services to members and nonmembers, as outlined in the MSR Referral Program. Understands and complies with all BSA regulations.
Qualifications:
Understanding of and ability to learn credit union and retail branch operations, including policies, procedures, compliance, and security. Strong interactive communication skills to ensure members’ understanding. Exhibit positive attitude and professionalism, projecting a positive image as a representative for the Credit Union.
- Demonstrated proficient use of credit union software and technologies to include Microsoft suite.
Position requires standing for most of the day. Position also requires occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds when carrying coin bags, and occasionally bending, squatting, twisting and reaching.
