In this vital role, you will operate a 53’ tractor trailer to move goods and inventory between our Brooksville and Dade City facilities. On slower driving days, you will also assist the maintenance team with basic upkeep, helping ensure smooth operations across the company. You be home every night.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• Safely operate a 53’ tractor trailer to transport goods between BDC facilities.

• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries in alignment with operational schedules.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.

• Keep accurate mileage, fuel, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations.

• Assist the maintenance team with basic tasks such as equipment checks, facility upkeep, or minor repairs during low-volume transport days.

• Help identify potential maintenance issues and communicate needs proactively.

• Adhere to all DOT, federal, and state driving regulations.

• Maintain a clean driving record and uphold BDC’s safety standards.

• Conduct vehicle inspections and coordinate necessary service or repairs.

• Partner with warehouse and operations teams to coordinate inventory movement.

• Support cross-functional needs to ensure efficient flow of goods and materials.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid CDL Class A License with clean driving record.

• 2+ years of tractor trailer driving experience (53’ preferred).

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.

• Basic maintenance or mechanical skills (preferred).

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Frequent bending, climbing, and reaching during loading/unloading or maintenance support.
