Description:

• Performs park, beach, and/or campground operations work.

The work involves providing visitor and group services, facility maintenance, repairs, and enforcement of park, beach, and/or campground rules and regulations. The work requires prior

experience:

Workers report to a Beach and Campground Manager or Park Manager. Essential Job Functions Responsible for daily park, beach, and/or campground operations: opens and closes facility, performs trash pick-up and removal, collects and accounts for fees, cares for animals, ensures that services are open and ready for visitors.

• Provides information to visitors.
• Enforces park, beach, and/or campground rules and regulations.

Responds to complaints, incidents and injuries.

• Performs general maintenance of facilities and equipment involving grass mowing & trimming, painting, carpentry, cleaning restrooms, and other similar tasks.
• Maintains daily records.

Other Duties Performs related work as required.

• Prepares reports i.e., incident/accident.

Physical Demands: Requires long periods of standing, frequent walking outdoors, repeated bending, crouching, stooping, stretching or reaching; recurring lifting of objects up to 49 pounds.

Unusual Demands: Exposed to hazards of working with tools. Exposure to working in varied outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. FLSA Status: Nonexempt
