when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team! Demonstrates a strong, needs-based sales and service focus as defined and measured in the Member Center and Corporate Balanced Scorecards and Business Plans.
- Determines financial needs using a high impact questioning strategy, educates, cross-sells, and services members/potential members on CEFCU/CEFCU Investment Services (CIS) products and services.
Reconciles daily Member Center cash operations. Has a broad understanding of CEFCU systems.
- Provides supervisory override on exception situations within established parameters of authority.
- Analyzes negotiable items and items that require special endorsements.
Complies with government regulations and CEFCU policies and procedures.
- Follows Instant OFAC procedures.
- Monitors, orders, and forecasts office cash usage, Mastercard gift cards, Personal Money Orders (PMOs), Cashier’s Checks, temporary checks, and Temporary Registration Permits (TRPs).
- Performs monthly and annual self-audits.
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software to maintain various reports such as Teller Balancing and Cash Flow spreadsheets.
Audits and maintains Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). Operates and maintains currency counter, coin sorter, and coin wrapper.
- Resolves member complaints and problems.
- Assists in Member Center scheduling and re-deploys staff within the office to meet business needs.
Serves as a role model and leader for Member Assistants. Runs and balances teller drawer. Complies with vault security limits and dual control standards.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of CEFCU Robbery Procedures.
- Oversees and/or completes on-the-job training for Member Assistants and back-up Cashiers.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:45 a.m. -- 5:15 p.m. Friday 7:45 a.m. -- 5:15 p.m. Saturday 7:45 a.m. -- 12:15 p.m. Required: High school diploma or equivalent. May be required to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS) to comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act).
Acquire and maintain proficiency in CEFCU mainframe applications and the following third party systems such as Credit Bureau for Debit Cards, Instant OFAC, VSoft, Speeedview, Card Wiz, True Checks, Evolve, Q2 Assist, and Checksystems. Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of all Federal and State Regulations governing Financial Institutions through the success completion of the formal Member Service Representative Cashier Module within one year, including required continuing
education:
related to the Bank Secrecy Act. Thorough understanding of all Member Assistant functions including technical knowledge of TES transactions.
- Demonstrated relationship building, sales and service

Ability to perform Notary services. Summary Pay Range The pay range for this position is $19.71 - $23.17.
