Make a Difference This Summer at ChildServe! Want to get paid to have fun this summer? If so, ChildServe Respite has the perfect summer-only opportunity for you! As a Summer Camp Respite Assistant, you’ll provide personal care and supervision for children with special healthcare needs—out in the community and at our Johnston location —while enjoying a rewarding and meaningful job during the summer months.
- Schedule
Summer seasonal M-F 8am-4:30pm How You’ll Make an Impact Have fun with kids while their regular caregivers get a break Be creative while engaging children in activities
- Provide care at our Johnston Campus and out in the community
Receive ongoing training and supervision Great resume builder for those interested in social work, education, therapy, psychology, and nursing
What You’ll Need:
Must be at least 16 years old to apply Those 18 and over must be willing to provide transportation as a ChildServe authorized driver, if required. This includes passing a motor vehicle record check and car safety check and able to provide a valid driver’s license and insurance Ability to lift up-to 35 lbs. be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
