Job Description
This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT:
THE POSITION Columbia Sportswear’s Ethics & Compliance team plays an integral role in ensuring our global operations are grounded in integrity, transparency, and strong governance. As an Ethics & Compliance Analyst II, you will support the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our global compliance program.
You’ll work cross‑functionally with Legal, HR, Finance, Internal Audit, and global business partners to help implement controls, maintain compliance frameworks, perform monitoring activities, and support training and communication initiatives. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Coordinate and support the execution of core compliance program activities, including training, communications, recordkeeping, and routine operational tasks.
- Manage and maintain compliance‑related tools and digital resources, ensuring information is organized, accurate, and accessible.
- Assist with data gathering and preparation for reports, presentations, and materials used in compliance committee and leadership meetings.
Triage incoming disclosures and inquiries (e.g., gifts, entertainment, conflicts of interest) and ensure appropriate follow‑up or escalation.
- Support elements of third‑party due diligence and compliance monitoring processes.
- Contribute to process improvements that strengthen program efficiency, consistency, and clarity.
YOU ARE Detail‑oriented with strong organizational
skills:
A clear and proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders well‑informed. Comfortable navigating changing information, gray areas, and evolving processes. Tech‑savvy and eager to learn new systems or workflows that support your work. Collaborative, dependable, and able to build strong working relationships across teams.
YOU HAVE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience:
2–4 years of
experience:
in compliance, internal audit, legal support, shared services, or another detail‑heavy operational or administrative role.
Experience:
coordinating processes, managing information, or supporting programs with multiple stakeholders. Comfort working with technology platforms and maintaining digital organization. Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information. #LI-JD1 This job
