Summer Camp Lead Teacher – Montana At Discovery Kidzone, we believe in the magic of play, adventure, and discovery. This summer, we’re looking for a Summer Camp Lead Teacher who shares our passion for creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences for children ages 5–12. What You’ll Do
- Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate activities that balance fun and learning
- Mentor and support camp teachers and staff to ensure a smooth, high-quality program
- Build strong, positive relationships with campers, fostering a sense of belonging
Encourage teamwork and collaboration through group projects and games Keep campers safe by following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and engaging environment for all campers
- Communicate with parents and guardians about camper experiences and progress
- Assist with camp operations, schedules, and daily logistics
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children ages 5–12 in camp, childcare, or educational settings:
- Leadership experience or a desire to grow as a mentor and role model for staff
Strong understanding of child development and recreational programming Excellent classroom management and communication skills Friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure Creative, fun-loving, and organized with a practical approach CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before camp starts)
