Summer Camp Lead Teacher – Montana At Discovery Kidzone, we believe in the magic of play, adventure, and discovery. This summer, we’re looking for a Summer Camp Lead Teacher who shares our passion for creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences for children ages 5–12. If you’re enthusiastic, highly organized, and love inspiring curiosity and joy in kids, this role is perfect for you! What You’ll Do
- Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate activities that balance fun and learning
- Mentor and support camp teachers and staff to ensure a smooth, high-quality program
- Build strong, positive relationships with campers, fostering a sense of belonging
Encourage teamwork and collaboration through group projects and games Keep campers safe by following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and engaging environment for all campers
- Communicate with parents and guardians about camper experiences and progress
- Assist with camp operations, schedules, and daily logistics
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children ages 5–12 in camp, childcare, or educational settings:
- Leadership experience or a desire to grow as a mentor and role model for staff
Strong understanding of child development and recreational programming Excellent classroom management and communication skills Friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure Creative, fun-loving, and organized with a practical approach CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before camp starts)
