About This Job:
We’re looking for a Field Development Representative (FDR) to be an on-the-ground presence in a defined market, focused on building strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and existing customers. This role plays a critical part in creating a consistent, human presence in key markets and helping turn real-world conversations into qualified opportunities and long-term impact.
Sitting on the marketing team and working closely with Sales, the FDR ensures in-market engagement translates into measurable pipeline. - Build and maintain in-person relationships across a set of target accounts
- Conduct regular on-site visits and informal check-ins with prospects and customers
- Develop a strong understanding of local market dynamics and customer needs
Surface interest, buying signals, and expansion opportunities through conversations
- Coordinate follow-up and next steps with AE/AM when appropriate
- Support local events, meetups, and regional field initiatives as needed
Capture notes, context, and outcomes from field interactions in our CRM Share qualitative insights and feedback with Marketing and Sales teams
What You Bring...:
Location: Must live in New York, Manhattan preferred 1–3 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience OR 1–3 years of hands-on cannabis industry experience within a local market (retail, brand, or operations) Strong, trusted relationships across accounts in the assigned market Consistent in-person touchpoints and engagement
Clear visibility into field-sourced and field-influenced opportunities Positive feedback from customers and sales
- Improved awareness and responsiveness within the region
Naturally relationship-driven and comfortable building rapport in person
- Organized, reliable, and proactive in managing your time and territory
A strong listener who can connect customer needs to internal teams Comfortable working independently in the field Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing Familiar with CRM tools (or willing to learn) It’s a Bonus if You… Have sales experience. Strong in-market knowledge and relationship-building skills are equally valued.
You’ll Get… We are targeting an OTE of $65,000 - $90,000 based on the intended level for this role.
