Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: 1st Shift Details: 0645-1815 depending on the location. Rotating Saturdays 0800-1200 at homebase. Float shifts encompass both opening and closing duties. Shifts can range from 4 hours to 12 hours, varying by laboratory site
Float will to following locations based upon the team's staffing need:
Drexel Town Square Health Center Forest Home Health Center Greendale Health Center Greenfield Health Center Lafayette Health Center Lincoln Health Center McKinley Health Center Moorland Health Center Sargeant Health Center Sunnyslope Health Center
Job Summary:
- Responsible for phlebotomy, specimen processing, customer service and provides general office support in a clinic setting.
EXPERIENCE:
Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program of 6 months or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
LICENSURE:
ASCP certification preferred.
TRAINING:
Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of medical terminology.
