A Day in the Life of a Data Center Project Manager Do you thrive on delivering complex, high-tech projects that power the digital world? Are you energized by building relationships, solving challenges, and driving results? If so, you’ll love being a Data Center Project Manager at Granger.

As a Data Center PM, you will:

• Lead mission-critical projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and technical requirements.

Serve as a liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

• Manage key project processes, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost tracking.
• Oversee project schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM processes, and ensure compliance with data center standards and commissioning protocols.

Write subcontracts and purchase orders, monitor budgets, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.

• Deliver projects to closeout with a zero-punch list goal and comprehensive handoff.

Represent Granger’s values of trust, integrity, and teamwork in all interactions.

What You Bring to the Team:

A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience managing data center or mission-critical projects (preferred).:

Strong organizational and time management skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. A proactive mindset with the tenacity to solve challenges and meet deadlines. The ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail. Familiarity with construction-specific software like Procore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project.
