Job Title: Business Analyst, Global Product Monitoring Department: QA - Post Market Quality Assurance FLSA Status: Exempt Position Overview: This position is integral to supporting the department through complaint database software enhancements, upgrades, report creation, data structure, and validation activities/documentation.
The Business Analyst (BA) will be the primary connection to IT resources supporting the business unit. The BA will have a strong understanding of the business unit’s processes, context surrounding why the processes are in place, and what happens if processes are not functioning/followed. The BA will be an expert in the systems utilized by the business unit and understand the implications of system structure, how changes may impact systems, and how system data is utilized for reporting.
This individual will be responsible for all business analyst deliverables in projects impacting his/her business unit. It requires organization and attention to detail while working with other functions within the organization to ensure compliance and accomplishment of tasks.

requirements:
for new features, functions, etc. Acts as a key liaison with IT during projects and throughout the maintenance phase Understanding impact to existing processes within his/her functional area Perform functional testing with ability to use creative thinking for test cases Training prep and execution for system enhancements Co-ownership of project activation process and scope docs Ownership of complete business requirement documentation and discovery process and significant involvement in functional requirement phase.
Ownership of testing.
- Test scenario and script creation, and planning/execution of UAT.
- Provide leadership on resolving business process issues related to the system.
Creation of reports for general needs Data quality – monitoring and resolving/escalating issues Resolve end user “how to” questions, resolve master data errors, and assist with reversing standard transactions. In conjunction with process owner/management, maintain SOP’s and other documentation. Act as a focal point for reporting issues, enhancement requests and projects including documenting business
requirements:
and managing user acceptance testing. Focal point for addressing system changes, regression testing during upgrades/patches, and other system maintenance activities throughout the maintenance phase.
- Support database development and reporting capabilities related to the complaint / reliability department needs.
- Assist in gathering information and data during FDA, ISO or other third party or internal audits.
