Groundskeeper - Winter Seasonal

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Groundskeeper

• Reports To: Building & Areas Manager or Supervisor

Department: Buildings & Areas

Classification: Seasonal Full Time

FLSA Status: Non Exempt

Job Duties:

• Performs daily cleanliness rounds (4 to 5 daily)
• Keeps supervisor informed of arising problems.
• Removes snow and ice from assigned areas with special consideration given to areas where the public frequents.
• Moving ski racks around to appropriate locations to ensure proper grooming overnight and allow for optimum guest use during the day.
• Removes garbage and properly disposes of.
• Performs recycling duties
• Maintains exterior cleanliness of assigned buildings.
• Ensures that all assigned public areas are pristine. These areas include (but are not limited to) all sidewalks, stairs, entryways, vestibules, etc,
• Shovels roofs as necessary.

• Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Must be able to recognize projects that need attention.
• High School degree or equivalent
• Can work in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Physically fit.
