Day Camp Counselor-
JOB SUMMARY:
The Day Camp Counselor is responsible for supervising day campers during their camp sessions and adhering to safety and security guidelines, cleanliness and Club policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES and other duties as may be assigned related to this position.
- Reports to day camp at least 15 minutes prior to drop off time.
Sign in campers by taking names and ages when dropped off for sessions. Enforces age requirements of campers.
Supervises children while they are attending day camp. Reports any poor behavior to Day Camp Supervisor.
- Reports any maintenance and safety discrepancies to the Day Camp Supervisor.
- Follows all safety guidelines for the proper use and storage of art supplies, cleaning supplies and chemicals.
A complete understanding of the safety plan. Maintains a clean and well organized workspace.
- Presents a professional image through dress and demeanor on Club premises.
Always maintain complete confidentiality.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: At least one year of child supervision is required and there is no minimum education requirement. CPR/AED certified preferred
