JOB SUMMARY:

Ready to make an impact this summer? Liberty County Board of Commissioners is looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and upbeat individuals to join our team this summer as Camp Counselors!

As a counselor, you’ll help create awesome experiences for our campers through activities, games, field trips, and hands-on learning. Every day is different, fast-paced, and fun.

Your Major Duties will include:

Supervising campers at all times.

• Assisting with planning and organizing activities for campers.
• Leading activities and interacting with campers.

Meeting and greeting campers and customers.

• Helping to maintain facility and enforces rules and procedures.
• Performing basic cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and taking out trash.
• Performing and other related duties as needed.

Great attitude and strong communication. Enjoys working with kids. Ability to be a team player with staff and families. Reliable, responsible, and ready to be active. Able to lead, motivate, and have fun.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is typically performed while sitting, standing, walking, running, crouching, bending or stooping. You may frequently lifts light objects. The work is typically performed in a gymnasium and occasionally outdoors. You will be exposed to noise, dust, and dirt.
