    Instructor / Assistant Professor of Biology – Wildlife Biologist Frostburg State University, College of Humanities, Arts & Sciences, seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track Instructor / Assistant Professor of Biology. This position is available to begin Fall 2026 for the main campus in Frostburg, Maryland.

    Responsibilities:

    The Department of Biology at Frostburg State University seeks a broadly trained Wildlife Biologist to support our undergraduate and graduate programs in Biology, Wildlife, Interpretation, and Conservation.

    Responsibilities:

    include teaching courses in Wildlife Management, Wildlife Techniques, and other undergraduate and graduate courses to support departmental needs. The selected candidate will have the

    to mentor masters’-level graduate students and undergraduate researchers. Duties will also include student advising, professional development activities, and service to the Department, College, University, and community. Minimum

    Qualifications:

    ABD or Doctoral degree in biology, ecology, or a closely related field. The candidate must have a strong background in wildlife biology, and familiarity with statistics is preferred.
