Clovis, CA – Seeking Entry Level Scribe Gain Experience Working Side-By-Side With Frontline Physicians As part of our Medical Scribe program, you play a vital role in supporting physicians and health care providers while gaining first-hand knowledge and practical experience in the field. Vituity Locations: Vituity has opportunities at 475 sites across the country, serving 9 million patients a year. As part of the Vituity Scribe Program, there are multiple opportunities to fit your needs, including gaining experience in units such as the Emergency Department, Intensivist Care, Telemetry and Medical-Surgical.

The Opportunity Firsthand exposure to a clinical setting for undergraduates or post baccalaureate students pursuing a career in healthcare. Great opportunity for students taking time off before Medical, PA or NP school. Scribe hours are counted towards clinical training for most PA and medical school programs.

Work one-on-one with physicians and other health care providers. Become proficient in medical terminology and put you a few steps ahead of someone else that is entering the same program as you and has not had this experience. Completion of scribe application test is required – if applying to more than one scribe position, you are not required to take the eSkill assessment test beyond the first time, unless wanting a better score from your first time. Experience with medical terminology, human anatomy and human physiology is preferred.:

Each scribe works 2-3 shifts per week (including weekends and a holiday). Ability to stand, walk and follow a physician for extended periods of time. Ability to work in a stressful and fast paced environment. 1 year commitment at this site, continuous one year, not a summer position. Excellent follow through.

Self-motivated. The Practice Clovis Community Medical Center – Clovis, California The valley’s first full-service hospital, offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. 250-bed facility with a 42-bed ED and Primary Stroke Center. Annual volume of 83,000 with a 15%25 admit rate. All sub-specialty backups available excluding neurosurgery.

EPIC EMR and Vituity scribe support. Central California’s premiere breast cancer center, a highly rated bariatric surgery program accredited by the American College of Surgeons, and the most advanced (Level 3) fertility center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. The Community Clovis, California, offers a blend of small-town charm and big-city amenities.

Known as the "Gateway to the Sierra," it features a family-friendly atmosphere, excellent schools, a low crime rate, and a thriving economy, especially in healthcare. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the nearby Sierra National Forest for hiking and camping. Clovis also has a vibrant downtown with local shops, restaurants, and the Clovis Veterans Memorial District, which hosts community events.

The annual Clovis Rodeo celebrates the city’s Western heritage. History lovers can visit the Kearney Mansion Museum. Clovis is within 40 minutes of Yosemite National Park and two hours from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
