Looking for a fun and exciting summer? MOSI is seeking energetic and skilled Technology Instructors to inspire the next generation of digital creators. As a Tech Instructor, you will challenge, empower, and motivate campers through hands-on learning in a variety of technology fields. Depending on your skill set, you may teach topics such as Minecraft, robotics, gaming, coding, 3D modeling, electronics, or prototype fabrication using 3D printers. These cutting-edge, project-based camps allow you to share your passion for STEAM and watch campers' curiosity ignite.

Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with MOSI staff and outside experts to design and deliver camp programs.
- Create and implement innovative, project-oriented, and hands-on technology activities.
- Develop curriculum that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
Attend mandatory instructor training and orientation (May 16th). Greet families in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. Uphold and promote MOSI's mission and educational philosophy.
- Maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment and represent MOSI with professionalism
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree or 5 years of relevant experience may substitute. Proficiency in one or more technology subjects (e.g., coding, digital media, robotics, electronics, 3D design). Florida teaching certification is a plus. Minimum two years of experience teaching children and creating lesson plans.
Background or interest in technology. Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in varied environments.
Experience working with diverse groups of children.:
First Aid and/or CPR certification preferred. Must pass a Level II Background Screening through the Department of Children & Families.
Dates, Hours, and Locations:
Weekly camps run June 1 – August 7, 2026. Each week features new themes, new campers, and different teaching assignments. Full-Day Camps: 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. (Completed K–11th Grade)
Flexible Schedule:
Instructors may work most of the summer or select weeks. Must commit to full camp weeks, with a minimum of two weeks required.
Compensation:
Includes teaching and preparation time. $700 per week for leading a full 5-day camp.
