Day Camp Counselor

The Day Camp Counselor is responsible for the supervision of program participants and the implementation of on-site activities.

Responsibilities:

Supervise program participants in both small group and large group settings.

• Implement sports, group games, and arts & craft activities for program participants.
• Maintain District and school district equipment and facilities in a clean and orderly manner.
• Communicate effectively with participants, guardians, and staff regarding rule infractions, questions, or concerns.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old. Minimum six (6) months of experience working with children, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of a variety of sports, group games, and arts & craft activities. Ability to teach and demonstrate creativity in delivery of activities. Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns

Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within two (2) months of hire.
