Job Description
United Security Services Inc. is looking for experienced Security Patrol Officers to join our team in the Las Vegas area. The position will require 40 hours of training to include training on all (3) three shifts, mornings, swings, and nights. Upon successful completion of training , the officer will be assigned as needed.
The ideal candidates must understand that these positions will require flexibility, including the ability to work any shift at any time. We are looking for team-oriented individuals who can contribute to a positive work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Patrol, Observe, and Report for all areas of the assigned facility
- Checking all fire and safety hazards and reporting and abnormalities
- Performing property tag scans
- Road Barrier setup and breakdown before and after events
- Opening and closing parking lots
- Delivery-Assistance
- Key assists
- Escorts
- Patrol guest areas for suspicious activities and unauthorized people
- Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills
- Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Have a professional appearance and demeanor
- Other responsibilities may apply
Requirements:
- A valid, up-to-date Security License for the State of Nevada
- At least 2 – 3 years of verifiable security experience
- Over 21 years of age
- Open flexibility/availability
- Comfort with mobility; ability to stand up and walk for 8 hours, able to climb ladders to access the roof
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospitality experience
- Ex-law enforcement
- Fire safety experience
