The campus includes an expansive clubhouse, 27 holes of golf including the championship Spring Mill Course and the nine-hole Centennial Course. We have a variety of dining options including four dining rooms, an outdoor Terrace overlooking the Spring Mill course, and varied event spaces including an elegant Ballroom ready to welcome up to 400 guests. About the Role:
The Kids' Club Summer Camp Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of a safe, engaging, and educational summer camp experience for children. The manager leads a team of counselors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive culture while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. They serve as the primary point of contact for parents, staff, and vendors, managing communications and resolving any issues promptly. Ultimately, the manager’s goal is to deliver a memorable summer camp that promotes fun, creativity, and engaging activities for all participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Recreation Management, Child Development, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in camp management, youth program coordination, or a similar leadership role.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Strong knowledge of child safety regulations and best practices in youth programming.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily camp schedules and activities that are age-appropriate and engaging.
- Recruit, train, and supervise camp counselors and support staff to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Manage camp registration, enrollment processes, and maintain accurate records of attendance and camper information.
- Ensure all health, safety, and emergency protocols are strictly followed and that the camp environment is secure.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding camp updates, camper progress, and any concerns or incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials and resources for camp activities.
- Monitor budget and expenses to ensure the camp operates within financial guidelines.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback from campers, parents, and staff, and implement improvements.
This is a seasonal part-time role. Ten weeks June - August
Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
