They have a wide range of
responsibilities:
across the enterprise and interact with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our global network.
Responsibilities:
- Manage information security events across a variety of platforms, deploying countermeasures, escalating issues, and resolving incidents as needed.
- Develop and tune new alerts and countermeasures.
- Install, upgrade, manage, and maintain software and hardware to support the Information Security function.
- Develop subject matter mastery of various tools and platforms in production.
- Research information security vulnerabilities as they pertain to the POOLCORP environment, develop solutions and present findings.
Work closely with peers as well as other departments and stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the Information Security Program, minimizing disruption and protecting assets while enabling the business to succeed.
- Demonstrate continual learning and skill development at a high level in the field of Information Security.
- Provide direct support to a variety of compliance efforts across a wide range of regulatory domains.
Write and present effectively. Operate on call in the event of emergencies. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Information Security or Bachelor’s degree with five or more commonly recognized industry certifications. 5 or more years of professional or academic
experience:
in the field of Information Security, Software Development, or Information Technology. Excellent verbal and writing
skills:
, including the ability to present to both technical and nontechnical audiences. Bilingual, Military, Military Spouses and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply!
