    Regional Director of Experience Design This is a hybrid role working on average 2 days per week in an office in Nashville. Applicants must currently live in the Nashville area to be considered for this role.     Primary Responsibilities The Regional Director of Experience Design works in close coordination with the Director of Sales in providing leadership to the Experience Design Team and manages the full spectrum of activities relating to the internal sales process. This position provides direction to the Experience Design Team in areas of program development, training, client service needs assessment and development of supplier/partner relationships.

    • Work with the Director of Sales in ensuring seamless transition of files from the Sales Team to the Experience Design Team, as well as timely transition of files to the Event Producer Team.
    • Ensure continuous training and support career progression of the Experience Design Team.
    • Ensure Quality Control in all aspects of performance relating to the Experience Design Team.
    • Responsible for supporting assigned offices in achieving GP/Financial goals through ensuring accurate costing of programs.

    Assume the Regional Sales Manager's or Director of Sales' role with clients, supplier/partners, etc. when the RSM/DOS is not available or accessible.

    • Provide a communication link between Event Producer Teams and Sales Teams.
    • Provide new and developing members of team any training, motivation, program guidance they may need, including during peak season, by listening to their needs and assisting them with solutions to their challenges/opportunities.

    Play an active role with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure the sales and gross profit goals for their team are met or exceeded.

    • Maintain oversight of program development according to specifications identified by clients.
    • Oversee team of Experience Designers to ensure completion of program development and other team projects.
    • Manage Client Agreements with the responsibility of collecting payment for program before the program file is routed to Event Producer.
    • Develop and maintain business relationships supplier/partner relationships.
    • Develop creative program ideas for client programs that are cost effective and promote client retention.
    • Perform site inspections for team as requested.
    • Assess program leads according to standards set by team and PRA.
    • Manage file and workload distribution of the Experience Design Team.
    • Manage PTO calendar/work schedule for the Experience Design Team and perform performance reviews.
    • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual team, department and company meetings, taking a lead role as required.

    Keep RSM or DOS promptly and fully informed of all opportunities and other unusual matters and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.

    • Ensure that sales tools, tariffs, and resource books are current, complete and available for the team to use at any time.
    • Review PPEs and make better practice recommendations to ensure process improvement and increase client experience satisfaction.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience, or a combination thereof. Industry certification (CMP, DMCP, etc.) preferred. 5 years of Experience Design desired, 2 years of related DMC experience required. Proven ability to provide a high level of motivation, training and support to direct reports.

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to effectively manage and handle multiple diverse tasks simultaneously, while remaining detail oriented. Proven ability to work and lead in a team environment. Strong mathematical skills (calculating percentages, proposals using mathematical equations).

    Working knowledge of venues and supplier/partners in the local area and ability to locate new venues and supplier/partners.
