Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Licensing to join our corporate team based out of our New York office. The position will focus primarily on Randa’s inbound licensing portfolio and will have a key role in Randa’s outbound licensing. This role is highly visible and has multiple touchpoints within and outside of Randa. Internally, this position works closely with all divisions, including sales, product development, legal, finance, and supply chain, and regularly interfaces with Randa’s executive management team. Outside of Randa, this position is a primary point of contact for our licensed brands and is responsible for helping to identify new business opportunities and ensuring compliance with the terms of Randa’s license agreements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage RAA licensing initiatives and act as the day-to-day point person for licensed brands.
- Develop strong relationships with RAA’s inbound and outbound licensing brand partners.
- Work closely with RAA internal stakeholders, including sales, product development, e-commerce, finance, supply chain, and legal.
- Prepare and manage all monthly/quarterly forecasting reports required by RAA’s Inbound and Outbound licensed brand partners.
- Perform extensive market research to recognize new sales opportunities, optimize RAA’s brand portfolio, and identify prospective licensees for Randa’s owned apparel brands, Haggar and Tribal.
- Manage Randa’s trademark/patent clearance and registration process, in conjunction with RAA’s legal team.
- Assist the Director of Licensing in all initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong math skills are required.
- Superb communication skills, oral and written.
- Must possess strong attention to detail.
- Strong “people skills” and the ability to excel in highly collaborative teams.
- Ability to build professional and trusting partnerships, internally and externally.
- Knowledge of licensing, contract terms, and trademarks is preferred.
- Some travel is required.
