Summary The Director of Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic execution across the Renewable Energy Investments business unit. This role serves as a central integrator across capital raising, product origination, transaction execution, and asset management functions.
The Director will oversee financial planning and performance forecasting, support strategic initiatives, and ensure seamless coordination with key Raymond James partners and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Process Management Establish, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes across capital raising, product origination, transaction execution, and asset management.
- Develop standardized workflows, reporting frameworks, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, transparency, and risk management.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure operational consistency from deal sourcing through asset lifecycle management.
- Lead operational due diligence processes and post-closing integration coordination.
Financial Planning & Performance Management Serve as primary point of contact for business unit P&L oversight, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Oversee transaction-level financial projections and pipeline tracking.
Partner with Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, expense tracking, and capital deployment reporting.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor performance across capital formation, deployment, and asset management.
Strategic Planning & Execution Lead business unit strategic planning initiatives, including annual planning and long-range growth strategies. Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives with measurable milestones.
- Evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, and operational scalability to support platform expansion.
- Support new product development and market entry initiatives.
Intra-Group Collaboration Act as central coordination point between Renewable Energy Investments and other Raymond James teams (Investment Banking, Private Capital Advisory, Research, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, etc.).
- Ensure consistent communication, alignment of priorities, and proactive issue resolution across stakeholder groups.

- Support a range of functions including deal origination, investor origination, software implementation, transaction execution/closing, and asset management.
Rapidly assess priorities, integrate with stakeholders, and drive deliverables to maintain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Qualifications:
8–12+ years of
experience:
in investment management, private equity, infrastructure, renewable energy, or financial services operations. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated
experience:
managing P&L forecasting and transaction modeling. Proven ability to build and implement scalable operational processes. Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
