Description:

The Electronic Waste Processing Technician is responsible for assisting the crew with unloading/loading-trucks, operating light equipment, processing a wide variety of electronics for recycling, and practicing good housekeeping. In addition, the Processing Technician will learn and perform duties in the electronics de-manufacturing facility and the shredding area, as well as, perform any other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed.

Operate light and heavy equipment such as hand power tools, and forklifts. Load/unload trucks and trailers of all types including dry van trailers, straight trucks, and roll-off containers.

• Process, shred, and package materials.

Requirements:

Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule and work overtime as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or GED, preferred Knowledge of forklift operation a plus Excellent written and verbal communication
