Job Summary Rhode Island School of Design's (RISD) Continuing
Education:
(CE) department seeks a temporary assistant to support summer camp programming for 6-12 year old children at RISD's Tillinghast Place in Barrington, RI. This individual will supervise campers throughout their daily activities and work closely with instructors to deliver the program’s art curriculum. They will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all campers.

Term: June 29, 2026 - August 7, 2026 Location: Tillinghast Place (Barrington, RI) Essential Functions: Supervise campers at all times Lead your group of campers through all transitions in the daily schedule Lead engaging recreational activities when outside of the studio: during morning drop-off, lunch, snack and afternoon pick-up periodsBuild positive, nurturing relationships with campers Respond to behavioral and first aid incidents and report them to the Summer Camp Manager Support in classroom
