OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an outcome-oriented Site Merchandising Manager to own the digital shopping journey across Salomon’s eCommerce platform. This role leads key levers of product discovery – including search, navigation, sort orders, filters, and recommendations – to drive conversion and revenue optimization. You will manage and develop a growing team while delivering measurable gains in engagement, conversion, and revenue.
Working cross-functionally with global and regional Digital, Marketing, Analytics, IT, and Merchandising partners, you will champion product discovery, ensuring the right products are surfaced to the right customers at the right time. This role is both strategic and hands-on, blending analytical rigor with creative merchandising to deliver a best-in-class online experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:
Customer Experience & Site Optimization
- Lead and optimize all site merchandising touchpoints: search, menu, sort orders, filters, product configuration, product recommendations, cross-sell, and up-sell
- Drive conversion through relevant, data-driven merchandising, personalization, and site testing
Align with Marketing and Merchandising to ensure seamless product launches and campaigns
- Collaborate with Analytics and Ops to aggregate, optimize, and analyze consumer feedback loops to ensure Salomon.com is aligned with the pulse of the consumer
Partner with Sr. Ops Manager to prioritize feature refinement and development that drives ROI Workflow Innovation
- Identify and implement workflow optimizations to improve team efficiency and scalability
Explore and deploy AI-driven tools for workflows across the Site Merchandising function Partner with analytics to evaluate AI-driven enhancements and measure business impact Team Leadership & Development
- Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of Site Merchandisers
Set, measure and monitor clear KPIs for the team, aligned with business outcomes including conversion, engagement, and revenue contribution Partner with Digital Lead Team to design future Site Merchandising team structure and expand capabilities Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the Site Merchandising voice in cross-functional planning and business reviews
- Ensure readiness of site merchandising systems and processes for peak events, product drops, and promotions
Partner with Sr. Ops Manager, Global Digital Product and Technology teams to integrate regional requirements into global roadmaps and support feature and platform integration and adoption
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES:

Required Experience 6–8 years in eCommerce with emphasis on site merchandising, product discovery, or conversion optimization
Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in conversion and engagement metrics Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Commerce Layer, Magento, etc. Proficiency with Site Merchandising tools such as Contentsquare, Algolia, Talon.One, Dynamic Yield, and Analytics platforms (Piano, GA, Power BI) or similar tooling
Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring junior staff:
- Established track record with AI-powered merchandising or workflow tools is a strong plus
Skills & Competencies:
Passion for elevating the consumer journey and delivering business results Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with CMS, PIM, DAM, and A/B testing platforms
