About the Role:
The Summer Camp Counselor role at The Wood Acres School is an engaging and dynamic opportunity ideal for individuals passionate about child development and education. Counselors are expected to lead a variety of camp activities, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and productive experience for all campers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and leading educational and recreational activities
Fostering a positive, safe, and engaging camp environment Encouraging teamwork and leadership among campers Collaborating with fellow staff to deliver a high-quality camp experience
What We Are Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus Preferred certifications in CPR and First Aid Excellent communication and organizational skills A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their growth To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
