Position Number: 02031-0851 Location: This is a full-time position located in Augusta.

    Responsibilities:

    You will serve as an office associate for the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Program supporting the monitoring and control of Notifiable Conditions. You will assist with answering phone lines, intake of disease reports, documenting consults, entering laboratory reports, following up on incomplete reports, filing, and billing.

    You will ensure the office runs smoothly by assisting with meeting scheduling, opening and sorting mail, making copies, filing, and providing coverage for the Maine CDC reception area. You will also: • Assist in answering the disease reporting and consultation line • Help process bills for payment • Ensure program files are up to date • Plan and execute program mailings • Collate and distribute mail • Coordinate scheduling of meetings and room reservations • Provide support for the Epidemiology team with data entry needs • Make calls to medical provider offices to verify data Minimum
