Position Highlights The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring a Traffic Clerk (Court Operations Associate). In this role… Most of your day, you will assist customers, lawyers, partner agencies, and court staff—through email and over the phone—by answering questions
about:
court processes and the status of cases as allowed by Oregon law and court rules. You will also accept and receipt payments for traffic fines. Additionally, you will enter data into the case tracking system (Odyssey) and will compile data and process filings and other paperwork for violation cases. You will route documents to hearings referees for judicial review and enter judgments and orders, tracking anything that requires additional follow up.

are preferred but not required. Working Conditions This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime

for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week. This is a hybrid position, generally requiring up to 1 day per week working on site in office at either the Downtown or East County Courthouse. Occasional after-hours or overtime work may be required. Frequent phone and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Parking Multnomah County Circuit Court does not provide parking for the central courthouse or justice center staff.
Daily parking is available across SW 1st St from the central courthouse (monthly parking is limited). Another option is the Douglas Garage at 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97204. Parking cost is $165/month and is a half-mile from the courthouse and justice center. Criminal Background Check You will be subject to a criminal background check if you are a finalist.
