Job DetailsJob Location: GA-AUK Augusta Kroc - AUGUSTA, GA 30904Job Category: RecreationDay Camp Counselors needed for Spring Camp- Dates are April 6th through April 13th Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise an assigned group of children and youth; promotes quality of programs and safety of campers at all times; provides guidance and role modeling to campers; promotes and stimulates camper participation; coordinate and lead campers through their daily schedule ensuring punctuality and responsibility; supervises campers during unscheduled program time and evenings; ensures compliance with camp rules and regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides constant care for the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy environment.
- Build and maintains effective and positive relationships with parents in order to ensure an enriching and nurturing
experience:
for their children Develops and implements hands-on activities which are age appropriate.
- Determines appropriate supplies and materials are available at all times; ensures the children’s safety in utilizing the same.
- Provides opportunities for physical and mental stimulation through both inside and outside activities.

Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate activities are required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Have a willingness to work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available. Operate with daily exposure to the sun and heat and varying environmental conditions.
