Camp Erie is a state-licensed camp program for school-aged children and while the bulk of our programming takes place over the summer, we also offer short-term camps during Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring school breaks.

Duties And
Responsibilities:
Camp Duties: Performs duties associated with instructing or leading State-Licensed childcare programs Plans and implements activities for camp participants Provides exceptional customer service to all participants Responds to information requests, comments, and complaints Sets-up and take down required program equipment Leads indoor and outdoor group & participant activities Supervises participants during off-site field trips and activities Provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for a diverse participant population Gives choices and use positive behavioral supports to address camper behaviors Conducts headcounts according to an established schedule Administrative Duties Maintains area, facilities, supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary environment Reports any issues or concerns with inventory, facility conditions, policies and incidents to supervisory staff as needed Maintains frequent communications with other staff, participants, parents and volunteers Attends and participates in staff meetings and trainings Ensures the safety of guests and program participants by enforcing all rules and policies Other/Miscellaneous Responds to emergency situations, administers first aid, CPR or other medical attention as needed, and completes incident reports Assists with conducting activities, special events and special projects as required and assigned Performs other related duties as assigned
